Potty Training Part 2- Boon Potty Bench

Once our son got back on track with the potty training after his unfortunate regression and peeing on me episode, we received a new Potty Bench from Boon. It couldn't have come at a more perfect time!

The potty we initially started with was an Ikea Potty which was great as in intro potty but he became really uninterested in it. As soon as we received the boon he became excited all over again about using the potty. He has now begun using the potty on his own most of the time with out cues.

The Boon Potty Bench is not your typical potty. It's not full of bells and whistles and not bare bones. It's JUST right and so practical! It has a great potty with a pull out drawer that is easy to clean. It also has storage on either side of the potty for any of your potty needs like TP or wipes.
The whole potty also doubles as a bench/stool that can support up to 300 lbs!

There was a very short learning curve from transitioning to this potty from our other one as he had to learn at this point to be in more control of the direction. It took two times and he had it down pat. It proved to be a great (easy) challenge and will set us up for "aiming."

I like that this potty has the side holders for other things. It would make my son feel more grown-up. How hard do you think it would be for a slightly younger child (1 yrs old) since the aim has to be more precise?
