CRAFTivity- Falling Leaves

This is a simple craft and Zorro (2 yrs 9 mo) had so much fun! Honestly I was shocked just how much he enjoyed this! He wanted to do another.

I LOVED the way it turned out and am excited to hang this when it's dry as I wait to Fall to head our way!

  • Paper
  • Sticks, small branches
  • Real or fake leaves (we got our fabric ones at the dollar store)
  • Glue
  • Tape
  • Container for glue
  • Paint Brush for painting on glue

(Eliminate time consuming steps so you can spend more time with your LO)
  • Gather Sticks and/or leaves
  • Gather rest of tools
  • Place gallon Ziploc bag Except for paper
Now it's ready to go when you are!

  • Glue sticks on
  • Tape each stick in at least 1 spot to really keep them on- or use an awesome glue lol
  • Paint glue on back of leaves
  • Stick all over the paper
  • DONE!

I love it when something I plan is a success. I'm glad he liked it so much. Nice idea.

It turned out very nicely. I like the idea of taping sticks and using fake leaves. I should have bought those I've seen at Dollar Tree. We attempted something like this with regular leaves, but they are kind of hard to keep in place. I ended up using a stapler to keep them on the page.

How fun! You know I tell my husband all the time that I want to have kids just so that I can do crafts with them!

I find that often times simple is best.

We will definitely be doing this activity and probably some leaf rubbings, as well.
