Excuse me while I pout at the fact that it's still 90 degrees on the first day of Fall.
I am sad.
I love Fall and have been ever so patiently waiting it's arrival with crisp cool air, changing leaves, bundling up, fireplaces, hot spiced cider and cheery feelings while we move towards the Holidays.
Anxiously awaiting Fall...

I completely understand! I grew up in Wyoming and Fall was all about football, leaves changing colors, and cool to cold weather. Now I'm on the beach in NC and I really can't believe it's fall when it's 80 degrees outside!! I miss fall!
I'm with you...It was 90 degrees here today too, which is unheard of in Seattle in the fall.
Love those images of Fall! I don't think we even reached those temperatures in the height of Summer here in Scotland. A bit of a washout as usual. It is well and truly Autumn here tho - stormy weather!

Wake up, girl! You are in So Cal - what do you expect? LOL. We are in the 90s too - it seems that we have September heat waves every year.
Here in Texas we have 2 seasons, summer and not summer. What is this fall which you speak of?
I'm with ya on wishing for fall in 90 degree weather... I have been reading fall books to my boys, and they looked out the window at the greenish trees and dead grass and scratched their head in puzzlement at the lack of fall color. Oh well. We can dream...

I love fall because I hate summer clothing. I don't wear shorts or tank tops (not happily at least). Can't wait to wear my sweaters and scarves.
