The Danger Of Letting Your Tot Dress Himself

Don't' tell me your child doesn't go out in public wearing a pirate patch, rain boots and a shirt that's 5 times too big, backwards and is a picture of an elephant pooping.
....in 90 degree heat

Really we don't like to draw attention to ourselves...

Rain boots, for sure. Eye patch, never. Only because we don't own one. We have been out on the town with Indiana Jones (full whip and pistol), a Storm Trooper (with the crotch ripped out from constant wear), a Ninja Turtle (w/a faulty shell), Batman (cape & batarangs since he never leaves home w/o them), and a hobo (although that one wasn't an actual costume, that's sorta just his look). Here's to super fun costumes that your kids refuse to remove no matter how trashy they look or where they might be going!

That's funny. People used to laugh at me or tell me I was brave when I let the kiddos do things like this. I just thought it was fun for them once in a while!

That is SO something Krash would do.

Not at all, except when he does all the time...... Seriously if I let Superman have his way he would never take his robot jammies off.

Don't underestimate the power of good pirate patch! Of course, his intention is to intimidate some of those neighborhood girls.

oh yes my child does..actually a few of them did.
Nick..my now oldest..used to wear a bat cape whereever he went and insisted he was bat man.
Alec dressed in a raincoat and rubber boots and insisted he was a fire fighter..i've got to get hold of these pics.
Joey ..well joey is joey he will try and get out of the house with whatever he can. Yesterday he escaped me and ran into the front yard..wearing his pull ups..a large white t.shirt and flip flops..and was pushing the stroller.. arghhh
