It's Been a While...

Betcha didn't expect to see me in your reader didja?  Well, I thought Id pop by with some news and updates about whats goin on here in OC and let you know that I plan on getting back to blogging although very limited compared to before.

As you might remember since my BDay in Aug i had big plans to make BIG changes and I am happy to report I am still on that road! I have a long way to go still but I have lost about 50 lbs since august. That right! 5-0 BABY! I need to lose about 5-0 though, but all in stride...right? I'm not making big goals. Just small 10 lb goals and its much more manageable.

I have been working hard on dealing with my sometimes debilitating depression as well. I am taking Cymbalta which has taken a LONG time to start working but things seem to be on the up with that and i am THRILLED! I tend to be the kind of person who doesn't think something is bad enough to take action so I suffer. After 2 years of this very very horrible depression I am finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. However ever small that light may be it's hope for more changes and more of my shining, happy self to finally come out again!

I have also started watching a few children several days a week. An infant (8 months old) and an 8 year old. That has been really great for all of us. Zorro gets extra time with kids he normally doesn't have and in the case with the 8 year old I get out of the house which is always a good thing. Then there's the added bonus of a little extra income.

Zorro is doing FAB as usual. Hes in the Terrible 3's (come on you know as well as me it's the terrible 3 NOT 2's!) he's going head to head with D and me testing and fighting and finding his footing. But we're surviving.
He is also growing like a weed! H's just barely 3 years old and is 40 inches tall and 40 lbs! His 3T long sleeve shirts are 3/4 length on him and pants are more like peddle pushers. So my massive baby is wearing 4T and size 11 shoes.

In other blogging news I won't be doing crafts anymore unless its to share something from Itty-Bitty Bookworm Curriculum or a nifty one I found on another site. We still do crafts like there's no tomorrow but we tend to do open ended most of the time or little kits or ideas we find online that he likes. We're enjoying that time together.

I will be posting places to go in OC I have some stored away that I have already promised to share with you! I will get on that!

I will do occasional giveaways as well.

Im still reading your fab blogs however I can't post anymore from my mobile phone as I have a different one.

 That's news for now!

XO

Good to see ya on the blog again! Holy awesome on the shed...that is awesome awesome awesome! I am working on it in 10 pound increments too.

I am so happy that the meds seem to be starting to help. I went through a huge depression after we adopted our son and went on Lexapro for a bit...I think it helped but really I just had to force myself out of it...it took awhile!

I thought terrible 3s were the worst too until my now 2 year old is proving me otherwise...he is a jerk! haha! I am praying that his 3s are better because his 2s are horrible!

50 LBS that is amazing great job. Depression is horrible so hang in there and remember to smile it does help even if it's hard :)

That is NOT a massive kid - Tristan (at 2 1/2) wears size 10 shoes and 4T (or 5T) clothing. He weighs in at 45 pounds and is about 40 inches. THAT is a massive kid!

:D I'm glad you're doing better. Sounds like everything is just falling into place with you. :)

YEAH! A post from you! I miss you girl.
And I"m so with you on the terrible 3s.
I'm glad the meds are helping you. I've never gone through that personally, but have had several friends who struggled with it.
As always I'm only an email away if you need anything.
