BOOK TREE- Butterflies & Bugs

WHAT IS THE BOOK TREE?
The book tree is our list of books that we found at our local library to read for the week. Currently we are doing themed weeks. We pick 5 or 6 books in that theme that look interesting some well known and most of them new (to us) and read them all week long.

"Bugliest Bug" BY Carol Diggory Shields
This was the Winner this week for our favorite book. Z LOVED it and so did I. It was really a really cute story about a bug who didn't think she was good enough to be in a competition but in the end she learned just how great she could be.
Great story!

"Crunching Munching Caterpillar" BY Sheridan Cain
Really cute book about a caterpillar who wants to fly but doesn't know one day he will have wings. This was Zorro's Second Favorite.

"Waiting For Wings" BY Lois Ehlert
Great book. Fun Layout. I really really liked this book. My Second choice.

"I Love Bugs" BY Philemon Sturges
This was a really cute book! I was simple but full of info especially for little ones. This is another top choice.

"Bug Dance" BY Stuart Murphy
This was a cute book and fun to read. With a little bit older child, it would be fun to do that "dance" with.

"Miss. Spider's Tea Party" BY David Kirk
OOPS! Wrong photo...Oh well, if you haven't read it, it's really cute!

"UGH! A Bug" BY Mary Bono
Hmmm. Not so sure about this one. Kinda cute but it's sort of choppy. Almost like several different stories. Starts out with what you would do if you see a certain bug and goes to if you should be scared or not of certain bugs then to something else...
I guess you would have to see for yourself if you like it.
