Dress Up!

If you've thought about starting a stash of dress up clothes and accessories for your kids or adding to it, NOW IS THE TIME TO DO IT!!!!

Halloween is JUST around the corner and everywhere is selling cute dress up clothes and accessories for dirt cheap!

Check out:

THE DOLLAR STORES! - We went to the Dollar Tree and I picked up 2 fireman hats, a cowboy hat, a robot hat, a pirate hat and accessories to match each of them for just about $10! They have lots of girly stuff too! Dresses, shoes, crowns, etc!

Target (dollar section)- Some Targets carry some accessories for about a dollar

Do you know of anymore?

Once Halloween is near they will start slashing prices on costumes and even more post Halloween! THAT'S the time to stock up on full outfits. Just buy them a little large. No biggie! They are for dress up anyway right? Nothing that a little snip, tie or needle and thread can't fix to make us just right!

SO GO! Start looking now! You don't want to miss out. You can create an awesome stash for about $20-$30 and you can create a great mini stash with hats and accessories (and a few extras) for about $10-$15.
HAVE FUN! AND HAPPY DRESS UP!

Isn't buying costumes the day after Halloween the best. I started doing this many years ago for my daughter who is now 17. I still have many of her old costumes but, so sad her two younger brothers (11 & 3) aren't really into wearing Barbie or Disney Princess outfits. But, lucky for them I have also collected several batman, spiderman, Buzz and ninjas.

Good idea. For whatever reason my daughter hates dress up now, but I expect it to change as she gets older, so I plan to pick up a few things. So far she truly believes that she will turn into someone else if she wears that outfit.

I totally scour the stores post Halloween for great dress-up clothes. My kids are already on the lookout for what they can convince me to get.

Oh how cute.
Joey loves to dress up all year round. We have a few costumes lying around..but he tends to get pretty rough with them.
I am going costume shopping soon.

When I was little my mom would go to second hand stores right after prom. She just cut the skirts down to size and voila I had tons of dress up clothes.

We always shop the day after Halloween because my little ones LOVE to play dress up more than anything else.
